I have had this picture on my phone for awhile & have sent it to a few people. This is Grace sitting ON Megan. Megan deals with it.. Grace thinks this is her personal little napping place. Though she doesn't do this as much anymore-maybe Megan just had it & told her so-- who knows?! I did enter this photo in at Wetv.com so if you will go peek & rate this.. cool & many thanks. Cameron is going to be 12 on MArch 7- and what does the child want? A cell phone. Dan thinks he really doesn't need it- I sort of do as well- but most of his friends have one- so of course.. he does too. We checked out the Tracephone.. 40 cents a minute. What the hell?! So chekcing out more options. Our plan is with the business so we really don' want to add him as well. We want him to learn not to abuse his minutes. I can see it now... Cameron calling us from his bedroom to ask us to bring him something.::insert eyerollage:: He also wants some friends to spend the night or something. We are thinking LaserTag in the Portland area. Thing is- Dan's van is acting funny & just will stop anytime it is tired- which is often. So not wanting to chance that we may just have a few boys spend the night. We are not ready to re-live last years birthday party with 8 or 9 boys who stayed up ALL NIGHT!

Gotta Say

That I'm just sadden about the shooting at the university in Illinois. I just can't seem to wrap by brain around the fact he purchased 3 guns in one day. I have no issues with people owning guns. I believe that people kill people. I just am sadden about how this man could have thought that taking other peoples lives then his own could actually do anything? what did he prove? what did he solve? NOTHING. He kicked open the door & just started shooting-- even had time to re-load. It is sad to say that this is the 4th shooting in a week like this. Not sure about the details of others or even the one that happened yesterday. But all I know is that it is sad & was this avoidable? We may never have the answers -- this I know. I just have to wonder how do we keep our children safe? All we can do is what we can.

Happy Valentine's Day

Giving this to Dan later tonight. Cameron is getting just a little box of goodies. Nothing fancy schmancy. I did get my camera fixed.. but it was never really broken! My camera is about 4 years old. So the memory isn't even 1GB.. so that was the issue. Toooo much memory.. ugh. So then I just got the right memory card & ta-da.. it works. So happy now. Went into Portland yesterday- not much was doen it seems. No shoping. But- I was able to visit with Liane for a bit. I met Roxy- they new additon to the family. She is a sweet black lab- 2 years old & gives good doggie kisses- want them or not- she gives them. Not even mention the BS with my MIL- not worth the chat. Just will say she told Dan she is writing him & david (the older brother) off. Why? who knows.. who cares. Taking bets as to how long this will even last. Dan is loosing no sleep over this. .. me neither :o)

The weekend

The weekend went well. Cam had parent teacher conference on Fridays. He is doing really well & all his teachers had nothing but good things to say. This makes us all happy. Donald spent the night Thursday & Friday night- then Cam went to his house Saturday. Isaac came over Friday afternoon. He had been calling all last week & the week before. Cam was either at someone elses house or had a friend over... or was sick Anyhoo- Dan had Isaac come over & it didn't go well. Isaac has told Cameron that he only has friends because of all the toys he has & games. Cam just said whatever to him & Donald replied.. that isn't true Isaac. So then Isaac said he was going to start spreading rumors about him at school. Cameron said to him.. and you think anyone will believe you? whatever Isaac. Cameron isn't worried about any of this. Isaac left & Cameron said to his dad- I am just so tried of his crap-- he says things & does things I want no part of and I thought he was my friend. But he is okay with all this. I'm sure at soem point Isaac may come to hi ssenses.. but Cam isn't loosing anything over this. His birthday is coming up.. he will be 12 March 7. .Oh my! He didn't even have Iaac on the invite list. However- we'll see what happens in the next few weeks. Sad- but we aren't encouraging the friendship anymore.
I signe dup for the CK show for the end of this month. No classes- though I really would love to do the Album in day class with Liane. However-it's on a Thursday & I don't have anyone watching the store. Will Dan?? Not sure he is up for that.. but I will ask him..LOL
I am working on some LO.. still no camera. I'm heading into Portland on Wednesday- so I'll take it to the shop for repair then. We have some sun today. :o) Though figuring it won't last long. Heard more freaking rain is coming. we better hae a GOOD summer!!
Did anyone watch the Grammy's?? I watched about 15 minutes of it. Some songs they just should leave alone!

What A Week

It was quit a week. I had a show with the store at the Seaside Convention this weekend. I spent the week trying to get ready. Though never really was totally ready sicne things just came up. Cam was sick & home with a cold for 3 days. Then my MIL had her car totalled out from an accident 3 months ago- she ran over a median. Don't ask me how I have no idea. So Dan- his brother David & sister Stephanie & myself ended up through the phone & Dan & I going to the dealership with her... getting her a car. Yes- it took that many of us. She got what she got & happy or not ask me if I care? That took up 3 hours of my life I will NEVER get back. Plus just the normal day to day stuff. Terry & Sandy who help me out a great deal at the store were my life savers. Along with Colleen- they covered a lot. It was fun & though I just got crabby Saturday afternoon--I had this sinus hadache.. after taking about 6 Aleve's it all finally kicked in :o) I did 2 & half LO's at the crop fro Cam's album. I decided to load up some others that I have done in the past. So enjoy & we'll catch you all later in the week.
